At\u0131ksuda bu b\u00fcy\u00fckl\u00fc\u011f\u00fcn \u00fczerinde bulunan t\u00fcm kat\u0131 maddeler tutulurken neredeyse hi\u00e7 kat\u0131 madde ve mikroorganizma i\u00e7ermeyen at\u0131ksu geri kazan\u0131l\u0131r. Filtre y\u00fczeyinde s\u00fcrekli sa\u011flanan ak\u0131\u015f sayesinde filtrelenen kat\u0131lar\u0131n y\u00fczeyde tutunup filtreyi t\u0131kmas\u0131n\u0131n \u00f6n\u00fcne ge\u00e7ilir. Buna ra\u011fmen membran filtre dokusu \u00fczerinde biriken at\u0131klar, ar\u0131t\u0131lm\u0131\u015f at\u0131ksuyla yap\u0131lan periyodik ters y\u0131kama ve kimyasal temizleme s\u00fcre\u00e7leriyle fiziksel ve kimyasal olarak filtreden s\u00f6k\u00fcl\u00fcr.
